Category: Fiction
Description: In a flash, one morning, Christen woke up allergic
to her own life. Not in a dramatic, rash-covered sort of way. More like a
sinking, oh-my-lord-how-did-I-get-here sort of way. When the outward
cues and clues of a normal life no longer work; when common sense
becomes an anchor instead of a balance; and when Christen realizes how
far she has strayed from the road she once chose her strange and
wonderful Guardians step in to remind her of her destiny. But can a
deranged painter, an Anasazi potter, a drowned violinist, a mute monk
and blue-painted Celtic chieftain help her make sense of her life
without driving her crazy?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dylene Cymraes has completed a number of literary projects to date: four novels, one biography, and as a contributing author in a recently published anthology of short stories. Additionally, she is currently involved in researching, editing and writing several screenplays. She has countless other projects in various phases of completion, with shoeboxes full of stories and ideas pushed onto dusty closet shelves or stored on various computer hard drives; each clammering for well-deserved attention like so many children, each reaching maturity in it’s own time. It is obvious she loves the magic of words–and that is a fortunate thing for us, her readers.
Dylene lives in Westminster, Maryland with her husband, teenaged daughter, and three cats.
