Your Facilitator: Dylene Cymraes

Trained as a facilitator from her early days as a military wife in the European theatre, Dylene discovered Open Space Technology as a facilitation method over ten years ago. She has used the method in various settings—from kids-at-risk in Inner City Baltimore, to clients in non-profit groups and business settings, to help groups find answers to complex issues. She has been involved with group facilitation and training for thirty years, because she loves to see creative potential released in groups and for individuals.

Dylene is also an independent author and screenwriter. She has written three books, and is currently collaboratively editing and co-writing several more.

What is Open Space Technology (OST)

OST encourages questions like these:
  • How can we cultivate relationships to co-create a new publishing paradigm?
  • How can we use new technology to create success for independent authors and publishers?
  • Are E-books REALLY going to change the face of publishing?
  • So now we can publish our books - how can we market them?
  • How do we break through the traditional glass ceiling in the world of book publishing?
How will we find the answers?

The Four Principles and One Law which guide behavior in Open Space provide the clues.
