Maggie Robinson, owner and primary graphic designer of Silverbear, has been in the printing and graphic design field for more than 20 years. She began by working her way through college in the university print shop, running presses that ranged from a simple one color Multilith offset press to a four color web-fed Heidelberg. By the time she completed her degree, she had the printing bug - ink in her veins. She worked for several major printing companies over the years, learning the industry from the ground up. Later in her career she designed the Chesapeake Bay Program logo for the US EPA agency. Her goal through Silverbear Graphics is to provide exceptionally high quality product at a reasonable price with personal service and attention for her customers.
Betty Spreen comes to Silverbear Graphics with a happy heart and cheerful dreams to help grow the business by reaching out to new clients to share the creative talents of Silverbear. Betty is also our new office manager. She loves putting all the pieces together and she loves people, so it is going to be a great fit! In addition, she is our new Number #1 “gofer” (as in go for this, go for that) and the resident LBK (little blonde kid.) Oh, and she is the silly one, too, in case you have not figured that out yet. She is delighted and honored to join the Silverbear team! Betty brings lots of experience and skills with her including a background in private security, retail management, and over 20 years of management positions with and for renaissance festivals around the country. You may call her “Sparky”, a beloved nickname given to her many years ago. Welcome Betty!
